the posters and brochures are in for the camano art association's mother's day studio tour on camano island this may.and now time to toot my own horn... the cover image this year is one of my originals all composed with adobe's photoshop. the image is of the old eide farmhouse, now recently removed to be rebuilt somewhere in arlington, washington.while looking for houses before moving to camano
i became attached to the house by some strange connection, not quite sure what. i photographed the house over the last several years hoping it would be restored or turned into a community center or something. seems a shame that it is gone.i haven't been back to the site since it was removed.maybe this summer.
a good friend, rodney brandt, made a few archival injet prints for me that i will sell atmy home studio during the tour.one has been donated to the camano art association's scholarship fund headed by my friend patricia fey.
