i'm feeling a litany of saints coming on strong.maybe it comes from contemplating my mortality as i near my 50th birthday...at this point i am working on an image of saint george.the mother's day studio your is not that far away and i hope this year to be a little less rushed by trying to pace myself over the next several months.this image will be at the "honey, i shrunk the art "show at the history of the world gallery on the south end of camano island.there will be a big opening on november 4th and 5th for all the local galleries[gallery by the bay,stanwood house gallery, etc.]
here's another iconic piece i did from component digital parts and a lot of painting in photoshop .it is currntly hanging in Stanwood House Gallery in Stanwood Washington in the camano arts association's member show called "off the wall". the title "lamb of god" speaks to me of the innocent slaughter of what is good. we see that too much these days on many levels. i may continue in this vein for the camano island mother's day studio tour. we'll see...
